Unter dem Archon Glaukippos; die Antiochis hatte die vierte Prytanie inne, für die Euthoinos S.d. Euthy-kritos aus (dem Demos) MyrrhinousV Sekretär war; im Pyanopsion am neunundzwanzigsten; Volksversammlung;von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung [..]esilochos S.d. Kephisodotos aus (dem Demos) Peiraieus und seine Mitvorsitzenden.Beschluss von Rat und Volk; Euthymachos S.d. Euthippos aus (dem Demos) Xypete stellte den Antrag: Worüber Bericht erstattendie Prytanen der Antiochis, nämlich über die Opfer, die sie opferten vor den Volksversammlungendem Apollon Prostaterios und den anderen Göttern, denen es traditionell Brauch war; sie opfertenauch bei den hier stattfindenden Stenia der Demeter und Kore für den Ratund das Volk, zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen das Volk: dass man das Gutebillige, das nach ihren Worten geschehen ist bei den Opfern, die sie opferten für das Heil und die Rettung desRates und des Volkes der Athener und für alle anderen, die wohlwollend sind gegenüberdem Volk; – Da aber die Prytanen alle die ihnen zukommenden Opfer geopfert habenin guter und ehrgeiziger Weise, und sie auch Sorge getragen haben für alles andere, was ihnendie Gesetze verordneten und die Beschlüsse des Volkes: dass man belobige diePrytanen der Antiochis und bekränze mit goldenem Kranz gemäß dem Gesetz wegen ihrerFrömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttern und ihres Ehrgeizes für das Volk derAthener; – Damit sie auch bei den Chalkeia opfern der Athena Archegetis (Führerin)der Stadt und das (Engagement) gegenüber den Göttern gut und fromm ausgeht für den Ratund das Volk: dass das Volk durch Handheben bestimme, wieviel man ihnen begleiche für dieDurchführung der Opfer; dass das, was das Volk durch Handheben beschließt, der Schatzmeisterder Militärkasse und die Finanzverwalter begleichen; dass die Mittel dazu aus demDekret-Fonds des Rates kommen; dass diesen Beschlussder Sekretär, der während der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstellein dem Prytanikon; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die Stele die Finanzverwalter dieentstandenen Kosten begleichen.vacat 0,03

In the archonship of Glaukippos, in the fourth prytany, of Antiochis, for which Euthoinos son of Euthykritosof Myrrhinous was secretary. On the twenty-ninth of Pyanopsion. Assembly.Of the presiding committee - -esilochos son of Kephisodotos of Piraeus was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members.The People decided. Euthymachos son of Euthippos of Xypete proposed: concerning whatthe prytany of Antiochis reports about the sacrifices which they made, both those before the Assembliesto Apollo Prostaterios and to the other gods to whom it is traditional; and theysacrificed the Stenia to Demeter and Kore from their own resources on behalf of the Counciland the People, for good fortune, the People shall decide: to accept the good thingsthat they say occurred in the sacrifices which they made for the health and preservation of theCouncil and the Athenian People and all others who are well disposedto the People; and since the prytany made the appropriate sacrificeswell and with love of honour and managed all the other matters whichthe laws and decrees of the People prescribe for them, to praise the prytanyof Antiochis and to crown them with a gold crown according to the law fortheir piety to the gods and their love of honour to the AthenianPeople; and in order that they may sacrifice also the Chalkeia to Athena Archegetisof the city and that the matters of the gods may be arranged finely and piously for the Council andPeople, the People shall vote by show of hands on how much they should allocate for the administrationof the sacrifice; and the treasurer of the military fund and the board of administratorsshall allocate whatever the People decide through their vote; and provision shall be availablefrom the Council’s fund for expenditure on decrees; and the prytany secretaryshall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it in theprytanikon; and for inscribing the stele for the board of administrators shall allocatethe expenditure accrued.vacat 0,03
